A Waterfront Estate Requires a Higher Level of Planning
Every detail needs to protect the property, support the architecture, and hold up in a demanding coastal environment.
For this Palm Beach County homeowner, the goal was to renovate the outdoor setting around the water, pool, and entertaining areas. Perfect Cut partnered with Snellman Construction to manage the full landscape renovation while the property also underwent seawall modifications, a new dock installation, a limestone pool deck, and the conversion of an existing pool area into a sunken seating space.
Overcoming Site Challenges and Refining the Landscape
As the project neared completion, an unexpected pool leak required excavation through newly finished planting beds, Zoysia sod, and portions of the irrigation system. Perfect Cut returned to restore each affected area to the original finished standard, helping the homeowner avoid a compromised result.
The homeowner also wanted Northeast character in a South Florida setting, so Perfect Cut coordinated with two landscape architects to select plant material that delivered the right look while performing in Palm Beach County’s heat, humidity, and coastal conditions.
